All these products are made by hand in my home studio in the enchanted Pacific Northwest of the United States. I have been a professional textile dyer and artist for 20+ years, and am continually finding new inspirations for colorful expressions. Soap making was a natural progression of the potion-making little person who would gather decades of appreciation for natural approaches to living. Slowing down is absolutely a personal priority and is reflected in each slow crafted item I offer. I use every product I make and they have all been tested on consenting human animals. 😄

Hand embroidery and cross stitch was my very first fiber art when I was just a small child. Since then, I've been on a non-stop journey of creation! I found my love of knitting just after my mother passed away some years ago. I discovered the busyness it provided my hands also provided me hard-to-find peace and comfort. A little knitting therapy is still exactly what brings me continually back to my favorite go-to knitting project: a plain vanilla sock. I delight in watching the colors develop and play while my hands do what they know to do. A near obsession with hand spun socks was the compelling force that led me to hand spinning with a drop spindle and then quite quickly, a wheel. These days, I return to the spinning wheel time and time again as my very favorite making activity.  Teaching others how to spin is one of my greatest joys.

I was already commercially dyeing textiles when my love of yarn began; dyeing my own yarns and fibers was a natural progression! Natural fibers and soft sturdiness are must haves with all the fibers I create with, and all I offer to you as well. 
I've been a sewist for over 20 years, (embroidery, patchwork, and clothing are my favorite needle and thread projects) am also a small organic farmer, a mama to half a dozen humans, a proud Cascadian, a passionate mycophile, and an enthusiastic outdoor adventurer.
